to ratify the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime

Parliament adopts this organic law .
Article 1. - Ratify the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime , adopted in Budapest on 23 November 2001.
Article 2. - In accordance with Article 24, paragraph 7, point a) and Article 27 paragraph 2 letter c ) of the Convention , the Secretary General of the Council of Europe is vа communicate that they are responsible to receive and forward requests for international legal assistance, extradition or provisional arrest following authorities :
a) General Prosecution - requests for international legal assistance , extradition or provisional arrest made in criminal prosecution ;
b ) The Ministry of Justice - requests for international legal assistance, extradition or provisional arrest brought to trial or execution of sentence.
Article 3 . - Under Article 27, paragraph 9, letter e) , Republic of Moldova declares that all requests in criminal prosecution will be addressed the Prosecutor General , and those made at the trial or execution of sentence shall be addressed to the Ministry of Justice .
Article 4 . - In accordance with Article 35, paragraph 1 of the Convention , the Ministry of Interior will designate points of contact responsible for ensuring immediate and ongoing international cooperation in combating cyber crime.
Article 5 . - In accordance with Article 38 paragraph 1 of the Convention , the Republic of Moldova specifies that the Convention will apply only on the territory controlled by the Moldovan authorities .
Article 6 . - The government and the Prosecutor General shall take necessary measures to implement the provisions of the Convention.
